So far I haven't got close enough. But there's a second bloom opening under the leaves, and if its sunny tomorrow it might warm up enough to power up the fragrance.
Rick, does it seem to you that Phals. are blooming a bit
late this year? I've got many Phals. just now starting to
bloom that normally bloom in May to early June...well,
some much earlier than that.

Thanks Angela. I don't think my Phals are as far behind as some of my spring paphs. The Paph philipinense are usually feb-april for me and this year I was posting pics in June. The deliciosa may be a bit late. Bellina probably on time +/- a month. My big fasciata already has a dozen open blooms, and it has held out till late August in the past.
Late spring summer was pretty hot and reasonably sunny. But the last few weeks have been rather cool cloudy and rainy. We had a few nights in the high 50's after some major rain swept in after almost a month of nights with lows in the 70's
Yay bellina : ) Is it a clone or a cross, if so what's the cross of?

The tag says bellina #10 so not to helpful for parentage. I received it as a blooming size plant in 2004 when folks were still arguing about the split between violacea and bellina.
Ah ok, thanks. It's a teenager now.
