The leaves on wild plants can be really very long, 40-50cm. They are narrower however than stuartiana or schilleriana, more like a big narrow leafed celebensis plant. Wild plants are rare nowadays. They grow very well mounted, though I prefer to pot phals in pot (all the species), because once they make a pot-adapted root system, they grow tremendously better. I potted some minus 2 months ago, now they have 3 new nice leaves, plenty of flower spikes, and the leaves are bigger. Same for lindenii, if you pot them, they'll grow much bigger and better.

from the looks of it she's from pennsylvania-dutch country :)
so, if you don't mind watering a bit when it's warm then open bark is fine
Had problem placing the region where I had seen her. Bullseye. :)

Thanks- this is exactly what goes on right now.

But as paphioboy said, what works for me may not work for others.

I agree 100%.
Thank you Dot!

Roth- thank you for the advice and experiences. Last question for potted Phal. species,
Are the pots level, or positoned at a tilt?
Thank you.

hmmm, seemed to of lost the ability to multi-quote.

You have no idea how many of these plants I have killed. My dream is to grow this species and I still hope one day I can.
