I got this plant as a small seedling (probably just out of flask) from Olympic Orchids 10 years ago. It has been a reliable bloomer. Unfortunately, I broke 30-40% of buds while I was extracting it from the grow tent jungle for re-potting. Dissected flower photos are in my blog post.

Yes, it is easy to break since it makes long flowering stems which extend between neighboring pots, and the stem snaps easily.

It is interesting that yours are flowering at the same time, I guess mine flowered pretty late this year. Yes, it seems to be able to grow at the cool end of intermediate, too (around 14-15C at night). I started to keep them warmer now (18C at night), though.
