roebelenii in its true sense equals long, pendulous, twisting petals. philippinense= shorter, twisted petals held outward ~45 degrees from the pouch. Of course, over the years people have cris-cross these plants and possibly overlapping ranges in natural as well, you end up with all kinds of variations. IMHO.
