Hi Angela, Well, it certainly did not pick up that deep saturated red, but you gotta love all those flowers! (I could not find a Phrag. cross named Akela, which is why I asked.)

Thanks for your comments. Two more flowers coming and so far only one has fallen off. The colors in the photo are pretty accurate. More orange than red.

To KateL - Yes, it is QF Akela (Eric Young x Rouge Bouillon), according to label from Marlow, where I got it. I guess it would have helped to give the full name.

Does 'QF' mean that it was developed by Quintal Farms?
