Here's the first to bud of the blooming size Phrag. andreetae seedlings that are listed on the Fox Valley website. I think it's really an interesting color combination with the darker pink suffusion of the outside petal surface blending with the ivory base color. The plant is pretty small in size - about 8 inch leaf span. I'll post again when it's fully open.

Looks good Tom. Please post pictures of this new species. Very exciting! Can you tell me a little about how you grow it and if anything is different from how you grow anything else? Is that in orchiata? Thanks

Charles,

Still have two or three sukh compots w seedlings that that will be ready for individual pots by Feb/Mar.

Cheyenne,

The mix is 1 part #5 (medium) Orchiata + 3 parts #9 (fine) Orchiata + 1/2 part large perlite+ 1/2 part #3 size charcoal (pretty much what we're using for most Phrags these days). I grow the andreetaes alongside the schlimiis and water twice a week.

Michel - Sorry for the delay; we just got back from a Thanksgiving holiday trip. Here's the "fully open" photo. Nice wide petals, and color that's typical for the species.
