My bess has been flowering since August - first flower was a bit browned on the edges from the heat of that month, but subsequent flowers have been lovely! Branching spike, with two flowers, three buds and a new growth at about 2.5".

Thanks so much Chuck!

I like it. But it's hard to go wrong with phrags, and even harder to go wrong with besseae and its hybrids.

I've been thinking about picking up a besseae as of late, but I may wait until next year. I'm also considering getting a dalessandroi instead, because I like the flower shape better and the branching inflorescence.

You are welcome.
Nicely photographed and grown. I glad you are having success with it.

Chuck
