don’t know. but the frog in the greenhouse hangs out on the Demetrias more than any other plant

how old is your plant. that might make a difference. All of mine sit in trays with water.

don’t know what he eats. see ants some and an occasional gnat

I think I'd say thank you to your frog for eating what pests are there...and few of them. I have spiders who do that job rather well.
