Phrag. Don Wimber 'Barbara Ann' Am/Aos

A good Don Wimber is still hard to beat. I know it doesn't have the deep, dark red flowers of Jason Fischer, but the orange flowers have their own appeal. Also, with longifolium in the background it is very easy to grow (for a phrag anyway). This was an eBay purchase about four or five years ago.

About a foot and a half tall (excluding the spikes) and in a 5.5-inch pot.

You can keep them smaller. This one is getting a little big. I have another clone growing and blooming in a 3-inch pot.

They are named for the colchicine researcher at EYOF. I'm sure they're available from Rattecliffe or other vendors.

Thank you Jean and Eric. Actually Rattclif Orchids has Phrag Don Wimber but I understand now why it is not so usual. Rattclif sells this one at 120 GBP what is equivalent to 140€ or 192 $ + expedition costs. This is the price of a good Phrag. Kovachii seedling.
