Though it's not what you were hoping for, it's a stunner in it's own right. I love the pink blushes. I love the flower shape. It's very nice.

No, the ones you have are a remake of Phrag. Hanne Popow flavum, with the parents Phrag. schlimii 'Pink Delight' x Phrag. besseae flavum 'Mellow Yellow'. This one is Hanne Popow flavum sib cross ( 'Gold Rush' x 'Rose'). By sibbing them we were hoping for some "All whites".

Robert

As it is a sib of a primary cross I guess that you where already expecting segregation in the progeny. I am sure that this cross will give you very, very interesting results...
Robert could you please post more examples of this cross?
Thanks!

Indeed, we got some interesting segregation results. THe colors ranged all the way from white, yellow, peach, pink to red. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of all the seedlings that bloomed, but here are some of the seedlings:

As a comparison, here is a picture of the remake of Phrag. Hanne Popow (schlimii 'Pink Delight' x besseae flavum 'Mellow Yellow'); the same cross that you got: I think in general, the primary cross has larger flowers that are better shaped compared to the sib crosses, but the sib crosses have some interesting flower colors and paterns.
