I had no idea this was going to bloom or was in bloom until I watered the other morning, when it popped out at me from behind the first row of phrags. The plant stays small and the coloring of the flowers is IMHO much more pleasing than the type form of longifolium.

I like the spotting on the pouch skirt under the staminode:clap:

But I must say (IMHO) that I get almost identically colored flowers on my standard monster longi during different times of the year.
