Thanks you for you kind comments. I'm glad you like the photos.

I take them outside on a sunny day but in the shade. I have a house with white siding, which acts as a giant reflector. The background I use is matt white counter top material. Because of the white background the photos usually need to be overexposed about one stop. Taking the photos in the shade avoids shadows on the background. I am limited to calm sunny summer days for the white background photos. I usually use a coloured background when I take photos using lights in the house.
