I got this from SVO last summer. Pleased with how easy these are to grow. I have two more soon to open. Will be interested to see which one is best. This one has decent size and what looks like darker color compared to the others as they have been opening.

This years list was the first time I’ve gotten catasetums from their list. I got a similar cross - Susan Fuchs x dragons tail - but I don’t think there were any darkoniums on the list. Those seem like they’re going to be pretty big plants don’t think they were quite big enough to bloom this year.

That's pretty neat. Kind of reminds me of the patterning and colors of something in the stapeliad family, but I bet if it's fragrant it smells much nicer than most stapeliads.

It actually has a light fragrance of Szechuan peppercorn

I got one of these from Fred as well and it has been a consistent bloomer for such a small plant.
