it’s all I’ve ever wanted in a red phrag. Have you seen a better one?
It could get to a 13cm span when it’s all grown up.
I hope that it proves to be fertile!

Terry, it’s probably that quality or an high AM even here in the UK where the EYOF have produced some outstanding phrags.
If we were closer to London I’d take it up for an award sometime.

Clone 24. One of the smaller clones flowering for the first time. Nice enough but with wavy petals like many clones of Fritz S, it will not be staying around for very long.

Terry, there are 26 plants still alive. I lost one after deflasking.
It’s a super vigorous grex.
By Christmas I’m hoping that 23 will have bloomed.

Clone 12 is on its third flower and this is by far the best for form. At 10cm across, it’s not big but I love it.
Again, it’s not quite this pure a red, but it still good and on a par with recently awarded kovachii hybrids by the RHS.

It is difficult to get the best genes for shape, size, and color to come together. #12 has excellent shape and color.
