It's not bad and Eric would say 'Yay besseae hybrids!' :)
But if I really had to choose I would unhesitatingly favour Dot's Phrag Meditation !!
Best regards from Germany, rudolf

It's just a personal preference sort of thing. So, did we find out how big this plant is yet?

Dot, have any more of the buds opened? It looks like there was at least one more.
I hope you don't think that I don't like your plant - I do. I have Grande and Betheva, but both are new, so I haven't seen the flowers yet. I also have caricinum, and have pearcei and wallisii on order from Ecuagenera. My focus right now is to get colourful, long-petaled ones, but I like all Phrags.
There is one more bud, but it hasn't opened yet.
One of the things that is interesting to me about this flower is the fringe of red on the pouch (maybe I should say "edge" of red) and on the staminode. Maybe it's hard to see on my photo.

For Eric and Kevin: the longest leaf on this plant is about 9" from the center of the plant to the leaf tip. So you see, it's quite a small plant. A nice one for anyone who would like one more phrag, but has room for only a small one.

What an awesome flower! The length of the leaf is only 9 inches?! Now that's a compact phrag, I want one...naturally.
