I have struggled with this plant for a couple of years trying to get this caudatum x Conchiferum cross settled, repotting in various mediums after obtaining it from OrchidWeb. I am slowly giving it the right conditions of more light and water, and even though I am very pleased with the flowering, the foliage is marked in places, something I need to correct quickly. It has also thrown out 3 further growths so future displays should be very good.

Gary,
Very nice blooming but I need to ask how confident are you in it's ID? It looks exactly like my Wossner Super Grande. I also, have a 10 growth plant of Phrag. Nitidissimum that I've only been able to bloom once. I find it difficult to bloom. The leaves are very stuff, "V" shaped and upright, not wide or floppy. I believe Wendy also has a Phrag. Nitidissimum that recently got a FCC. She might be able to prove me wrong.

Rick,

I can only state that I obtained the plant a couple of years ago from OrchidWeb. Jerry Fischer brought the plant in when he visited the UK and that's about it I'm afraid!
