Phrag Saint Quen
(Hanne Popow X besseae var. flavum)

My first phrag to flower. I was hoping for a peach/pink color flower. But it's a start that I can flower this genus in my growing environment. I'm ready for a Phrag kovachii.

Flower size is 7.2 cm.

Nice. Overall, I'm not a fan of besseae flavum as a parent in phrag hybrids. I love yellow, most of the progeny are anything but clear yellow.

Congrats on the first phrag bloom! I guarantee you that most of them are just as easy to grow and bloom. Okay, kovachii *might* be a stretch from what I've heard, but most all it's hybrids appear to be a piece of cake.

:pity:

Well, you got your pink bloom, very nice. BTW, St. Ouens aren't that easy to grow and flower.
