IMHO, the finest pre-bessea phrag. hybrid (Sedenii x caudatum). While it is a robust grower, it is a shy bloomer in my experience. But well worth the wait with its elegant, large pink flowers. This time, I got three flowers, though one was fading by the time the last two opened.

Are there any lookalikes that are easier to bloom and/or bloom more regularly? Maybe instead of caudatum as a parent, maybe grande as a parent leads to better flowering?

Any warmer and it would cook. I't been 85+ in the GH for a couple months. The plant never gets below 60, and that's only in the winter, otherwise grown intermediate to hot. I've also tried leaving it out in the fall til it's in the 40s at night. Didn't help. All three of the contributing species grow mostly cool.
Yeah, I only thought of that because of your prior posts about conditions, and knowing yours are significantly cooler than mine.
FWIW, all my plants are in 90+/90+ (T/RH) conditions and seem to love it.
