Phrag. Summer Sun 'Fox Valley' AM/AOS

(Eric Young x Waunakee Sunset) - In bloom this morning in a bright greenhouse, this is one of our most reliable bloomers. Both parents had Phrag. besseae fma flavum in their backgrounds and the AOS awards description described the overall flower color as "yellow, overlaid coral".

I had one of these bloom a few weeks ago, but it was made with regular besseae. I kind of liked the flower, so I looked up the award info and saw your plant. Yours was larger with wider petals and sepal, definitely a very nice flower. Mike
