Phrag season in my orchid room. Longest petal is almost 40 cm. Ever since someone from Edmonton (Fren?) said they grow theirs standing in water, I've had mine in a saucer of water too. Seems to be okay with that.

Thank you. Maybe it felt threatened and decided to flower as a last ditch attempt at survival. The first growth,which has since died off, was much larger. I was amazed that this growth sent out a spike.

Is this species still known as wallisii there? Actually i think they're diff from caudatum, more green!!
