Very pretty Dot. Yours has a different presentation than mine does. The flowers on yours have the curve coming off the spike more than mine does. Really striking.

e-spice

BTW, better get it to the Doctors, it has curvature of the spike.
:) The curvature is my fault for not seeing it in spike -- it was way in back on a bottom shelf filled with Phrags, under lights. I actually found it in spike when I was taking all my Phrags out for the summer.

Great looking plant Dot. How long are the petals?
The longest one is 13" -- I don't know if they are still growing or not.

Beautiful !! Did it come from Acker ? Is it "stinky" ?
No, it came from Porter's Orchids, who got it from a grower in Hawaii. I've not detected any "fragrance."

Thanks, everyone. This could well become one of my very favorites.

Great showing Dot I have one that could possibly give me two spikes I hope they look as good as yours. I find that mine drinks a lot of water more than any other I have grown. It definetly needs repotting but I want to wait till after it flowers but it's not in spike yet.
