Some say this isn't what the tag says " Phrag Yu Fu Lui. I'm more then willing to rename it but I've forgotten what it really is!

I wouldn't know what kind of Phrag it is but it has excellent color and I like the red candy stripe on the sepals!

I'd say the tag is correct - looks like a lindleyanum x caricinum X to me!

I thought we decided: Probably actually lindleyanum X hincksianum = Mem. Ed Murphy

Mine's in bloom now, also, Rick. :D

Dot, I take it yours is a div of? My first thought was there's longifolium, when RHS showed lindleyanum x caricinum, OK I could see either there too BUT looks to be a pretty good size plant & we know how Rick grows them in Texas! I'd say Eddie Murphy is right on the money!

Eddie Murphy, that's interesting. I would think with caricinum there would be more or some spotting in the throat of the pouch. I think an adjustment is in order on my tag.

Yes -- a nice division!

I changed my tag last year, after this discussion. I agree that caricinum should make spots.
