Phragmioedium QF Red Wings, 4 years to a bloom

Picked this up for cheap at Chicago Botanic Garden Orchid Sale in 2018. It waned and waxed. Finally had 8 growths with 4 spikes last year, all destroyed when I poisoned everything through my own misunderstanding/ignorance about how my RO filter needs to be maintained. It likes to sit in nearly full sun all summer outdoors here in Chicago. Died back to one new growth, then matured this new growth in one season, with this bud having been visible since August. Finally opened yesterday. In Hausermann’s bark, sits in RO/K-Lite that I pour off and replenish each watering,

Indeed, that Phrag. is very, VERY nice. Love that speckled pouch and the soft red.
