No sun by those days in the greenhouse, but I took a picture still because I want to put kovachii on it and use its pollen... As you can see the flash from the camera was used but the colour are still very interesting…

Great color and nice full shape. Do you think crossing it with kovachii will make any improvements other than in size?

Yes! My first goal is to improve the colouration and rounder form...

Yay besseae hybrids! I think the cross has been made before.

Yes the cross name is Graem Jones, but I would like to remake it with this particuliar clone and some older crosses too...

Wow, I have never seen a Barbara LeAnn that dark red in color! Was a 4N besseae used to make it?

Love the true deep crimson color. Rounder? Why?

I’m exploring different fields and possibilities in my breeding program; I’m working on different line of breeding, colours, forms, flowers count, long lasting flowers, etc… And this one is on the roundness and deep red line. Just for that!

That sounds like a very ambitious breeding program for
a creative person. Everything I've seen on this forum has
been really lovely and has interesting variations. I look
forward to all your posts. I really do love that deep crimson color with not a hint of orange...wonderful!
