Cute little thing! I got this from Woodstream at the beginning of March last year (2023). I was not actually anticipating a spike this year, even though it has started to develop new growths, it's smaller than most caricinums I've seen so I think this may be a bit of a precocious bloom.

This is the second flower, I didn't get a chance to photograph the first one before it dropped. I literally missed that flower by a day. Oh well.

I purchased 2 of these at the same time, I'm curious to see if the sibling is notably different. While I find the flowers to be attractive, the Phrag. hirzii that I recently bloomed is so much more my taste that it kind of over shadows this species.

Regardless, this species seems to be as easy to grow as any other Phrag in my collection. Bright light, warm (but not hot) temperatures, and water water water are the key.
