vraiment tres beau domage qu il n'est pas été présenté a l'Orchid expo dw Montréal en fin de semaine

Very impressive! Has it been awarded?

Il n'entrait pas dans ma voiture...:rollhappy:

Je n'ai jamais présenté de plante à l'Orchidexpo, mais j'aimerais bien le faire un jour.

J'espère qu'il va être aussi beau l'année prochaine!

Translation :

I was unable to bring it to the orchid show!!! Too big for my car:rollhappy:

I never showed any plant, but some day I would like to do it .

I hope it will be as good next year.

Erythrone!
You'll have to rent a minivan next year. It would have been worth it. You might have beaten the JBM thyrsiflorum. What a beauty!

Maybe next year... A friend of mine drive a SUV. She told me that she will come with me next year...

But... maybe the plant will less interesting. And I have problems with staking. I don't know how to prepare a plant for showing... ;)

Whooaow, that is enormous! Amazing!:clap: What a job when it is time to repot the monster.

Well... I bought the plant in 2004 or 2005 and I have repotted it every year by removing all the old media and cutting some roots. For the last few years it has been a very time consuming job ( 1 to 2 hours)

Last year I just took a larger pot, put the roots ball in the pot without cutting anything and fill with rockwool... 15 minutes!
