I visited Natt’s Orchids in January for my birthday and got the chance to look through their available phrags. Many of them were acquired from Orchid Inn, and I was lucky enough to find this one in spike and for an excellent price. Tucked behind their tag was one of Sam’s, with notes on the flower’s deep color and even a clonal name. ‘Red Moon’ finally bloomed last month and I’m just now getting around to posting pictures of it here. The rich red color and the wide petals are incredible, and after seeing this one bloom I’m not sure if I need any more red phrags as this one is perfect for my tastes
