I have killed two plants before this, but this one managed to survive for a while. I like this species because the loss of pouch is correlated with the mating system (self-fertilization). Unfortunately, because of self-fertilization, the flower doesn't last for long, and one of the flowers is already reaching to the senescence. It probably lasted only 1 week. I got this plant from Ecuagenera.

Indeed, it is somewhat eerie. I can't explain why, but it somehow reminds me the image of weeping willow ghost (Yanagi-onna): Japanese ghost story, where a beautiful lady got tangled by weeping willow and became a ghost.
