Good evening, it is suppossed to be a very fast growing plant, it is beautiful, not to many around.
I don't know what happened to J.P. Faust's collection, since I haven't been to Montreal since the Pandemic. Luckily, I still have some of his flavum hybrids alive. I'm not sure about this cross so I'll check my collection.

JP is a good friend of mine and I have known him for some 30 years. About 2 years ago, he sold everything and is no longer active in the orchid world at all just that he kept about 150 of his most-treasured plants. It was becoming too time consuming and he was losing interest. At 70, he wants to devotes his 'remaining' time to other activities. Several years ago he had the most wonderful Paph collection and then one morning it was gone. He'll be back (not all that long ago, during a conversation he dropped something to the effect that rupiculous Laelias were just the most wonderful things he had seen in a long while - so he'll be back).
