Phragmipedium Nitidissimum

So I brought this one this year around may time I think, In rather a large Phrag order of about ten plants.

All I know is the all the plants came from a privet Phrag collector so all of the plants are ment to be very good.

As a two growth plant I was suprised it even flowered this year I have a nice new growth coming, with a few more.

Its given me two buds for its first flowering so I'm happy, and the colours are nice clean and clear.

I do like the long petal phrags On the look for some more species.

Nice broad shoulders on the petals and good color. Plus the plant looks like it might be on the compact side (given the parentage). Good acquisition!
