I cant take credit of the bud grow since i bought it already in spike (very small spike) it took like 2 months to get to the final size. The greenhouse company that sold it is located in Amazonas , Peru, so the plants are not adapted to Lima where i live. The climates there and here are completely diferent so most of the plants lost there flowers quick or the spikes just die. The plant came in a close flower pot wich is not good for the Lima weather, it was change to a more ventilated recipient . The mix is from Alfredo Manriques , which successfully works in this weather ,idk exactly what it have but it is very airy substrate and contains crushed seashell on it . The plant has been growing in a "cold" corner in a garden just under a small tree to give shadow basically all day long , so the plant dont get direct sun and gets really good ventilation. Hope this answer all your questions. Saludos!
