this is a species of a genera that I did not know until last saturday, when I visited the local orchid show in Merzig a small town near Saarbrücken in Germany. One of my main providers exhibited a plant of this species; in my opinion the best and most unusual blooms of his display! So I ask him if..., and yes, he had a 2nd plant, not as perfect as his exhibition plant, but nevertheless.., it went home with me!! It is an african angraecoid!

here some pictures:

Hi Jean, there's always something to discover here in Germany, isn't it !
Nice and interesting flowers.

Best regards from Germany, rudolf.

yes, you are right Rudolf, but in fact this was not the plant I had in mind: I went there to get my plants that I had ordered at Currlin Orchideen (Paph St. Swithin, Paph. wardii with bud, Paph. Woluwense, and several var. of Catt. intermedia) Jean

Sounds as if you made a good haul, congrats and good luck with the new plants.

Best regards from Germany, rudolf
