(personally, I'll take a "substandard" roth if it blooms regularly, rather than on that blooms every 3-5 years)

You know that bred roths bloom regularly right? Blooming in greenhouse conditions has likely been selected for. Time to bloom and frequency is very condition heavy as well. Most roths bloom every two years until they clump. Unless they are stubborn bloomers and clump first.

I thought the Charles E or Borneo clonal crosses were reluctant bloomers.
 
Charles e is notorious reluctant bloomer. But progeny and selection led to TON lines. They bloom readily.
