An Old Roth division first flowering 18 months after division
The plant has normaly 4 flowers 31 cm wide

Nice bloom Philippe.

For me, it's necessary to have this kind of plant in every roth collection. At least to see the big charm of "old school" plants compared to current breeding lines (different charm...)

This is interesting topic. What makes a clone old school, the looks? Or because it was collected? If an f breeding turns out some plants that are old school looking and some that are an improvement from both parents, would you keep one and label "old school" and others that showed improvement, not old school?
If i have a Sam's Best x Ton's Best and luckily I got an old school looking flower, i can call that plant old school?
Just curios about the definition.

Its all arbitrary. 'Modern' roths have much fatter petals, darker colour, big rounder dorsals. 'Old school' just means more like the old clones from the 70s; closer to 'original' jungle collected plants.

Exactly.

And the best "old School Roths" (Mont Millais, Rex, Dou Fong, etc...) gave the "New School".:)

I like roths but I hate the "new breed", who wants 40-50" LS plant? Yes, the flower is little bit bigger but the plant size...

I will treasure my "Borneo" clone--It is a compact clone, BS plant is only 14-16" (LS).

I bought a few clones with unknown parents from two Taiwanese sellers for my experimentation, one got erwinia and three survived as an NBS. Six with good parentage might bloom next year. Now I know what to call those survivors.
