this one's a vini. just opened this morning. very cute outcome although i wish the plant was smaller like helenae. will take pics in natural light when the sun decides to shine.

It looks almost exactly like the photos on the listing page. Turned out really nice. I like that a lot. I mini-vini "Maudiae-type" Paph is something I didn't know I needed but now that I know I may go on the hunt.

the vini drowns the helenae - maybe the 'halo'. Hope it stays small

I don’t think I agree. I think it is more then cute! Sure, the vinicolor dominates in terms of color but quite a few vinis get to be so darn tall. The P. helenae certainly reduces the spike length and leads to very diminutive sized plants. Perhaps the P. helenae parent has kind of homogenized the color and rounded the dorsal? Of that I am in no way sure. My only complaint or disappointing part is the very narrow petals.
