Hi All,

Looks like Im out of luck finding the hanne popow flavum, at least for now. How about any saint ouen flavum's out there? I dont know why but it appears that just about every orchid I like is unavailable (LOL) :sob:

You are asking for plants that are very limited in quantity. Those that are available are pretty expensive. You better be sure that you can grow these well before such an investment.

Search in the Phrag. photos for "St. Ouen flavum" or "Snow" when you see that one just note the division I'm waiting for was quoted at $1500! THere are easier flavum hybrids to grow, Lutz Rolke, Olaf Gruss. I'd get those first.

Thanks everyone, I did find a St Ouen on line, I may hold back for a bit, as slippertalker suggests, at least for the time being, although the one I found wasnt exactly the one I was looking for, it is close though and is rather inexpensive.

The Bailey's are on my list of people I buy from on a regular basis, there are 5-7 vendors that have really good stuff. Orchidbabies make a lot of new crosses and release them early, you can get small plants but you don't pay a lot for them.

The Bailey's are the nicest couple!! I would buy from them again!! The plants are healthy and well cared for. They love what they do!

Hi All,

Well after much debate, back and forth, I ended up going for a Autumn Fire from Orchids Limited, I got to chatting on the tele and was easily "won over" I think I will like this one a better than the saint ouen but I still wouldnt mind trying a hanne popow flavum in the future.
