Koop mention this cross in his book, made in 2002 but I have yet to find a name for the cross.

At long last we have irrefutable proof! Slipper King is related to Burger King! That sure is a whopper!
Excellent colour in those petals, well toned to match that beefy pouch (again additional evidence of the BK link). The petals have good width and a pleasing angle of attachment. Very good!
(I have been waiting in eager anticipation to see this post)

Some really strong rich colours in there Rick and solid display. That's a plant that in the future with multigrowths and blooms is going to be a show stopper!

Yeah, we need to do something about that damn dorsal. I'm thinking on future blooms with a larger plant it may bloom easier and relax those dorsals.

Don't do it. Philippinense will destroy the pouch coloration.

Agreed! It has it's own beauty. Phil would muddle the colors. A few might bloom out alright but it is hard to get that beautiful dark pouch out of anything with more than 50% phil. Beautiful beautiful flowers on this one

If you think the pouch color is the only worthwhile aspect of of this clone, then that could be true. I guess I see more than that to like, traits that particular phil could maintain or improve. And if you only think one generation ahead there are many positive breeding outcomes you can never reach.
