A beautiful colorful primary hybrid between acmodontum & hookerae. I never had any luck with hookerae, so these are great alternatives for me!
These flowers have been open for over two months now. They were much prettier with vibrant glossy dark green which is now losing its luster and the green turning more and more yellowish.

They do! Look pretty much like hookerae.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but how large are the leaves on this hybrid and could you describe them, or maybe even attach a photo. Thanks. Mike

Not at all, Mike.
My plants are about the half way between the parent species. One plant was slightly larger than the other at the time of their first bloom last year. The second growth is as expected larger than the first growth.
This larger plant is in bud again while the other one is still growing its second fan.
I will upload photos of the plants soon.

The large one in bud has a leaf length of 8inch. Hopefully it won’t get much larger.
The smaller one has darker green more like hookerae parent.

How moist do you keep yours in?
