I grow them very close to my Arundinas. However, I don't grow the Arundinas very well; so, perhaps the Sobralias like my intermediate greenhouse and the Arundinas would like it warmer?

The answer is no Tom ! Did not flower this winter; the winter before yes! But never lots of flower at a time: max in the past maybe 7-9!

Thanks Jean. I've always had that impression of these - large plants with few blooms. They probably would be great as tropical/subtropical garden subjects, but a bit unwieldy in pots.

What sort of potting media are you using, and do you keep it on the damp side?

1/2 ProMix HP, 1/4 filtered perlite, 1/4 CHC and I do keep it well watered....like a Phrag.
