So do I, Istvan..... I love this sp.!
Wow I thought it was a watercolor at first!First one in flower is Paphiopedilum acmodontum : (@ Leslie .... in the end you beat me more than one week with your plant)
How can you be sure it isn't, Bruch? Rudolf most certain just want to brag about his uncanny photorealistic prowess in aquarelle by first showing his artistic endavours, then presenting an in-toto photo of his motive!Wow I thought it was a watercolor at first!
Brucher, thanks....but you clearly overestimate my painting skills.Wow I thought it was a watercolor at first!
Thanks Rick, these are exactly my thoughts regarding this bloom. I like it very much.......... Well balance, both structure and color.........
Much appreciated, Rudolf!... and forJens and BrucherT the plant in toto
No reason to be in doubt, Rudolf: you can't! Anthocyanin is anthocyanin - and your plant ain't fma. measuresianum. After only 11 months my Paph. venustum fma. albescens (measuresianum) is flowering again. This time with 2 flowers ..... If you look closely at the base of the petals you will find these tiny dark spots, they look like dust. Therefore I'm not sure whether I can name it fma. measuresianum or not.
But I assure they are real and my painting skills are very bad.All nice. They do look like paintings. Thanks for sharing.
