Yes, and this Aquilegia chrysantha is great compared to other Columbines, that is flowers one big amount and then soon it starts again and again. It flowers from beginning of June to September.
I love many plants, but especially Alpines, like Saxifraga, Campanula, Edraianthus etc. Then Primulas and Meconopsis and Soldanella The World is full of wonderful plants!

Thank you, nice to hear you like it. It's a lot to do, but It's such a wonderful hobby. Nice to work outside and enjoy the nature. You see so many insects and animals and other creatures.
I would like to follow more threads, but it takes so much time. Today I managed to upload these photos and some new pics to my other thread ' My Spring and Summer orchids'. I uploaded there few pictures of garden orchids too.

What a plant paradise is yur garden, Annica. Wonderful ! You garden/plot must be large to grow these trees which spend the shde for the plants.
I'm especially fascinated by this/these Nomocharis.

Hi Lori, right now the daylight is 18h 51min. It doesn't get dark dark at all.
I live about as far South as you can get on the mainland. High up in the North Finnland it is 24h. The sun doesn't go completely down at all. It's so called nightless nights now in Northern Lappland. I think you call it the constant day. You must have that in Northern Canada and Alaska as well. The Summer solstice was on Wensday the 21 of June, but the celebration was on Friday evening, and night (Midsummer Eve) and Saturday (Midsummer Day).

Thank you for the detailed reply. That's so interesting. I asked because I've visited the Canadian Arctic in the summer (August) and there was a very short period of darkness at that time. I remember the gardens that some people grew were absolutely amazing thanks to the long hours of daylight they received and your garden reminded me of that. I live near Vancouver and we've just had our summer solstice as well. We officially have 16 hours and 12 minutes of daylight right now but the birds start chirping at 4:00 a.m and I can still see outside at 10:00 p.m, so dawn and dusk really extend the day.
