Very nicely balanced flower. Can you please post a pic of the whole plant? If not can you give me an idea of the LS? Thanks.
 
I've never heard of one actually coming out yellow. Gave up on flavum-made hybrids years ago as the colors in mine always seemed about the same as the regular ones.

You can get some yellow St. Ouens only by backcrossing a Hanne Popow flavum back to besseae flavum. Most hybridizers used a normal Hanne Popow made from a red besseae and backcrossed it to besseae flavum. I had a bunch of those and I got the same as you did. Another example is in Phrag. Robert-Jan Quene when he used a Fritz Schomburg flavum and backcrossed to besseae flavum. Some offspring came out yellow and he posted both colored ones here some time ago. Too bad this one is a 3N, because it would be a good one for further yellow breeding. I sure would love to see more yellow phrags!
