The Cattleya that sparked my interest 16 years ago

C. Greenwich, i saw this at at home and garden show and needed to have it right there. Had it a few years and lost it due to lifes difficulties. Picked this one up again finally, last year and here's its first flower for me.

It has my favorite scent so far of the orchids i have a Sweet lemon rose perfume.

I really like the pale lemon yellow colour and contrast with the purple ruffled lip.

I can see why you were so attracted to this plant.

It must bring some old memories.

Yellow cattleya with red lip is also among my favorites.
I have two, one mini and one standard sized.
Mini always bloomed twice a year but for some reason, it stayed "dormant" for about half the year, which worried me.
It is making the biggest growth at the moment and I see a sheath inside.
I look forward to the flowers.

The larger one is recovering from repotting/dividing last fall.
