And I would like that Laelia :))), a great shape!!!! But I am not sure about blooming it so nicely; its sisters/cousins in my gh are rather reticent with flowering :eek:!

The purpuratas like a cool period and to be left alone in winter. :)
 
Love that purp! Is it a mericlone? I think I have one of the Phal. bastianii blooming now. The plant was given out at one of our local shows as seedling gifts. I never paid attention to the name on the tag (bad I know). I was surprised how dark the flower was compared to others in the mariae group that I remember.

I dont remember where I got the plant Rick but it carried an HCC/AOS on the original label when I bought it some years ago. So it could very well be a mericlone. :)
