I noticed some really good fares to some South American destinations. Does anyone know what is the good season to travel to Ecuador and see lots of pleuros in bloom?

As Eric Christiansen has often said to me, the best season to travel to Ecuador, or Peru is Friday, any Friday, just get on a plane and get down there. :evil: There is always something to see.
Seriously, there is always something in bloom down there as the rainfall is not as sharply seasonal as in places like India. Contact Ecuagenera and see what they recomend.
Thanx both, I will also contact Dennis Dalessendro; I think he's down there a lot; there are flights for $500 round trip!
