I acquired this species a few months ago and it's been putting out a new growth but I'm still unsure if I'm treating mine right. How much sphag and bark do you use in your media and how often do you water this during the summer, vs the winter?

Mine is in 50% bark and 50% sphag moss in a pot that only has holes at the bottom (so it doesn't dry out that quickly) and I'm thinking my watering 2x/week is too much now that temps are probably high 50s to low 60s where it's sitting...

Happy Thanksgiving! I used to have a decent number of trichopilias. Definitely don’t need two waterings a week this time of year, unless you were growing in large bark, stones, etc. As long as there is light moisture still near roots then you don’t need more watering. If you had very strong light but still very cool, maybe … more than once a week or if you have the very dry air that dries the sphag out quickly, then if the moss is getting dry then you would want it to stay at least slightly damp before you watered again
