Very dry plants

I was in the hospital for a month and no one knew what to do with my plants. I am home now and have a lot of very dry paphs. Any ideas for saving them? Thr roots are dry, the leaves are limp. They are potted in a fine bark with a small amount of moss. I have limitations use of one arm and hand now as I had 2 strokes. So any repotting or changing setup is difficult for me. Will just soaking them help? Thanks

Yes I would soak them all and just see what happens. orchids are tough plants and can withstand periodic droughts.

If you can get some Kelpak, add it to the water at 4 ml/L. It's like a "plant I.V." to boost their recovery.

Give them a good soak. They might surprise you. If possible increasing the humidity will also help. Best wishes on your continued recovery.

Give them a good soak as Ray says - bet you end up with a load of flowers in 3-6 months through this stress/trigger period! please come back to us.

Just remember, a good soak, and then let them dry out as normal. You don't want to leave them soaking for days.

I would soak them with some sort of seaweed kelp extract and most will probably be fine.
