The bloom is pretty much exactly 11 cm across. That's about 4.3" near enough.

Yes, I reckon this is a great kovachii cross. Just a shame that very few of these plants are likely to be available in the coming decade. EYOF don't make large batches of their crosses any more. And not many out there are likely to have a Petite Quiellette to work with.

Even though Petite Queillette may not be very easy to find, it is super easy to make with all those excellent besseae cultivars out there.

Good point. Not as many great andreettae cultivars though, as far as I have seen.

Actually Petit Queillette is fairly common. Unfortunately, who want to wait around for the cross to be remade.
