1st pic is the new plant to flower. Already flowered when purchased but flower not seen by me. 2nd one is the seedling of the cross I bought, posted again for comparison. Colour of 1st pic not great, sorry.

primulinum seems to wash out the colour (see the henryanum hybrid).
Id much prefer either parent

I have the primulinum & an earlier plant crossed it with a good lowii, the plants I've seen flower from my cross have been very good.
I would definitely like a plant or two of tigrina for sure. Was given one years ago but so small it had no hope of living & it didn't. The supplier lost all his too. Just too eager to make a $$ & deflasked way too early.

like a mini lowii.
colour is less intense than many modern lowii.

It's not Carol but very close,,C. Melody Fair 'Mishima'

Very similar, white with the deep red/purple lip. I haven't seen this one before so I don't know it's authenticity or award.
The 3 Melody Fair's I've now see are all white with the same lip, shape is the variant. Carol, then Mishima, then the ebay one IMO,
