Phrag.Asuko Fischer 'Waunakee' x Waunakee Sunset 'Cherry' name is.....

awesomei, I'll look at my tag tomorrow to verify where I got it. It's in spike right now and I'm looking forward to the flowers. I'd give you a division if the plant was big enough to divide. Heather, I'm sorry. I don't post photos.

Cattleya percivaliana 'Summit' and 'Alberts' - you can get an inferior mericlone

but...but...both plants have nice dorsals. Please don't trash it. Give it to a friend when it's blooming. The friend can appreciate the flowers and your conscience will be clear of Catt. murder.

    Dealing with being laid off.

Good idea Rob! Actually, any of Eric Hanson's books are well written, funny and informative. I don't think yoga exercises can "do wonders", but it can teach you how to relax through stretching and breathing. Rachel Maddow has an excellent podcast if you're interested in democracy and what is...

    Dealing with being laid off.

Been there, done that. I listen to cello pieces by Yo Yo Ma; Bach primarily. Stop to breathe. Try a couple of yoga exercises for beginners (or not) and don't beat yourself up. Reading is wonderful...pick a subject or time period that attracts you and learn as much as you choose.

    Humidity Trays

Lookin' good. I have three Vick's in my greenhouse and they work very well for not much money. I just use my hand to turn 'em on. Very low tech and too much automation makes me lazy.

Best Flowerstore Find! - P. Eric Young

Is the plant healthy? Did you save it and take it home? That sad flower looks really beat up. All I ever see is Phals. at Lowes that have been around awhile...those mini things.

Cattleya jenmanii semi alba ('Canaima's Lipstick' HCC/AOS x 'Kathleen' AM/AOS)

Lovely Catt. and big improvement of the dorsal on this one. It has big "ears" as well. I like seeing the background. All kinds of goodies to see. I suppose that makes me a greenhouse snoop.

    Fungus on paph?

If it was my plant, I'd let the seller know about the lack of roots. You payed for a plant with good roots and that should have been respected by the vendor.

    Fungus on paph?

It appears that there's not much root judging from the leaf span of the plant. I don't have insight into fungus, but I assume you've cleaned all that stuff off and repotted in a small pot to encourage new root growth.
